A delicate Japanese hanging scroll by Kinoshita Itsuun (1799–1866), painted in ink, gouache, and watercolor on silk. Features blooming peonies with fine brushwork, accompanied by elegant calligraphy. Mounted with deep blue brocade and wooden rollers. A poetic tribute to nature’s fleeting beauty. Very fine condition.
The signature reads 逸雲 (Itsuun), and the two red artist seals below confirm his authorship.
