A powerful temple bell cast in 1949 for Shorin-ji during the Showa period. Decorated with bosses, bands, and flowerheads, and topped with a twin dragon handle. Inscribed with the date and temple name.
Height 54 cm.
Very good condition with expected wear and patina. Revered for its deep, far-reaching sound.
