A pair of Japanese porcelain vases with gilt accents, each decorated with panels depicting a dignitary accompanied by attendants and intricate floral motifs. The panels alternate between narrative scenes of a noble figure attended by servants and depictions of lush chrysanthemums and peonies. The waisted necks are stylized with floral roundels set on a key-fret chain design.
