A Shibayama inro with four cases fitting in a makie-lacquered enclosed box, the case plain gold lacquered with sprinkled gold (nashiji) inside, the box with scattered gold flakes (hirame) and a gold lacquer panel depicting a bird perched in a blossom tree with mother-of-pearl inlay work and some red and green lacquer and at the reverse mother-of-pearl plovers flying above the waves and a tree on a rock. Together with a netsuke of a person. Meiji period.
