Remarkable, life-size kakejiku 掛け軸 (hanging scroll) showcasing an impressive ferocious hawk 鷹 (taka) perched on a rock in the middle of a turbulent sea with crashing waves.
Sealed twice in the upper right corner. The red name seals are surrounded by large red decorations. The upper one has a rain dragon circling around the seal, and the lower one has two stylized kanji 漢字 (Chinese characters) surrounding the seal. They read: ‘Hyakusen’ 百遷, and ‘Sealed by Suzuki Satoshi’ 鈴木賢院.
In black ink 墨 (sumi) on paper accentuated with some colour around his head. The mounting made of créme coloured paper and a pair of blue silk borders. The jikusaki 軸先 (rod ends) are made of dark brown wood.

Considering its age in a good original condition with minimal traces of wear conform age, like some horizontal creasing and a bit of paper loss of the mounting.
