Lot 294 A CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE 'HUNDRED BATS' VASE, GUANGXU MARK AND POSSIBLY OF THE PERIOD

The vase is decorated with a dense pattern of iron-red bats in flight amidst multicolored 'lingzhi' clouds above a petal-lappet band on the globular body and below a ruyi band on the tall waisted neck, and with a band of lotus sprays alternating with gilt shou characters on the shoulder above a gilded relief border. The bottom with a Chinese Guangxu six character mark.
