A CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE 'BUTTERFLY' BOTTLE VASE

A Chinese porcelain bottle vase, enamelled and gilt with dainty butterflies scattered over the bulbous body above stiff lappets at the foot and below a band containing four gilt shou characters alternating with lotus amid foliate scrolls at the shoulder, the neck similarly decorated with butterflies beneath a band of ruyi-head at the rim. The bottom with a Chinese Guangxu six character mark.
