A Chinese porcelain blue and white charger with rounded sides and an everted rim, decorated in cobalt blue with an asymmetric 'flower-and-bird' composition depicting two long-tailed birds perched on a branch of peach, with fully ripe peach fruit hanging pendent. The cavetto is bordered with evenly spaced sprays of chrysanthemum, lily, and peony, alternating with sprays of pomegranate, cherry, lychee, and peach. On the exterior, there is a peony scroll pattern and a Chinese Xuande six-character mark. Diameter 37 cm. With a hairline.
