Thinly potted, of pear shape, resting on a slightly flared foot, the tapered neck flanked by a pair of lug handles, covered all over and on the base in a pale creamy glaze suffused with a network of black crackle ('iron wire'), stopping above the foot to expose the dark grey ware burnt pale brown in the firing.
