A PAIR OF CHINESE YELLOW-GROUND FAMILLE ROSE GU VASES, QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)

Each vase with a flaring trumpet neck and domed base of the Gu form, finely enameled with the Eight Precious Objects, bajixiang, adorned with fluttering ribbons and entwined with the curly vines of a lotus meander, divided by a bulbous mid-section below the iron-red reign mark and bands of ruyi-heads, upright lappets, key-pattern and floral scrolls, all against a bright lemon-yellow ground, the interior and base with turquoise enamel. Marked with six character Qianlong mark.
