A CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE BOTTLE VASE, 19TH CENTURY

A Chinese porcelain vase, rising from a short foot to a compressed body, waisted tapering neck and a flared rim, brightly painted around the exterior with stylised scrolling lotus flower heads, set between a band of ruyi heads to the shoulder and a petal lappet border above a key fret chain to the base. The neck is similarly decorated under a band of ruyi heads to the rim. The bottom with a Chinese Qianlong seal mark, the interior and the base turquoise glazed.
