The deep body cast of rectangular form and raised on four columnar legs, the shorter sides of the vessel are surmounted by inverted 'u' shape bail handles of equal width with the mouth rim. Cast with eight toothed flanges at the corners and center of each exterior wall delineating crisply cast taotie masks on a leiwen ground. The whole with deep patina and attractive green encrustations.
