The elegant pear-shaped body supported on a spreading foot and rising to a waisted neck with flared rim, set on the shoulders with a pair of enamelled taotie-mask handles suspending loose gilt-bronze rings, the exterior brightly enamelled with sections enclosing large lotus blooms wreathed in scrolling foliage issuing curling leaves, all on a turquoise ground, the four horizontal sections divided by three bands of floral scrolls on dark blue ground, the spreading foot similarly decorated with a band of lotus blooms. The bottom with a Chinese Jingtai six character mark.
