A CHINESE FAMILLE VERTE DISH, KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)

The dish is decorated to the interior with bees hovering over peonies blossoming branches, encircled by a border with cartouches enclosing flower sprigs in reserve on a stylised geometric ground. The base has an auspicious mark painted in cobalt blue within a double circle.
