A CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE VASE, 19TH-20TH CENTURY

A Chinese porcelain vase stylized with two iron-red elephant head handles, well-enamelled around the bulbous body with four large stylized lotus blooms and growing fruits of peach below amongst foliage, the neck is decorated with similar lotus blooms separated by bats suspending endless knots, amidst a network of scrolling tendrils bearing other minor blooms, all reserved on a white ground and between a band of pendant ruyi heads around the rim and upright lotus petals around the base. The bottom with a Chinese Qianlong seal mark.
