A LARGE CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE VASE, 19TH CENTURY

A large Chinese porcelain vase, stylized with two phoenix bird shaped handles in high relief around the shoulders. The body and the neck are both decorated in colorful enamels with two large panels enclosing elderly figures with children in a fenced garden with blossoming trees on both sides, the neck with panels containing flowers growing from ornamental rocks. Further applied with eight Buddhist embelms, Fu bats and clouds amongst flower heads against a turquoise ground. All above a key fret chain to the base. The bottom with a Chinese Qianlong seal mark on a turquoise glazed ground.
