A Chinese white jade carved vase, of flattened baluster form, rising from a pedestal foot to a waisted neck flanked by a pair of ruyi shaped handles, the body carved with low-relief taotie and scroll brackets between two key-fret bands to the base and the rim. The stone of a white tone with areas of russet and natural inclusions.
