A CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE LANTERN VASE, 20TH CENTURY

The central section of the body is decorated in the round with nine scholars in a mountainous river landscape, the neck is decorated with two iron red and gilt bat-shaped handles and lotus scrolls on a blue ground. The base is enamelled turquoise and bears an apocryphal Qianlong mark.

There is wear to the enamels.
There is an enamel flake to the base (approx. 0.5 cm.).
