A THAI JAR, SAWANKHALOK, 14TH-15TH CENTURY

A tall jar of ovoid shape with a trumpet-shaped mouth and an everted mouth rim. The shoulders have three incised bands and are surmounted by four thick high horizontal lug-handles. The jar is covered with a dripped brown glaze mouth, lower body and the flat base unglazed and show a buff body.
