A Chinese porcelain ewer, the pear shaped body with a flaring neck, has a strap handle opposite the short, curved spout.
The body covered with attractive light green glaze overall, carved with lotus heads above a band of upright plantain leaves.
The exposed footing of a reddish brown celadon.
Acquired in 1981.
