A Chinese porcelain horse cast standing foursquare on a rounded base with the grooms, with the head turned upwards, the ears pricked, saddle cloth draped over the back, an elaborate harness and strapwork over the face. The grooms dressed in a tunic, trousers, and cap, the arms suspended mid-movement and the face turned upward. All covered overall with a pale ice-blue translucent glaze.
