A CHINESE LONGQUAN CELADON CHARGER, YUAN DYNASTY (1271-1368)

The rounded sides with flattened rim and upturned edge, rising from a footring, inclined on the outside and straight on the inside. The domed centre carved with a lotus flower, the well with an incised and cambed wave pattern. The unglazed footring burnt orange in the firing.
