A KOREAN PEACH SHAPED WATER DROPPER, JOSEON DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY

Porcelain peach-shaped waterdropper. The peach rests on twiglets painted in black, the top is copper red. Two blue leaves rise form the twiglets and are coloured in cobalt. The whole is covered with a blue-green glaze. The unglazed footring burnt reddish brown in the firing.
