A CHINESE BLUE-GROUND FAMILLE ROSE 'DRAGONS' VASE

The large famille rose vase is decorated with two elephant shaped handles, further finely enamelled with five clawed dragons in a variety of postures amongst Fu bats on a wavy background. All set below a key fret chain and a band of ruyi heads to the rim. The base with a petal border above a key fret chain. The bottom with a Qianlong seal mark on a glazed background.
Height 70.5 cm.

The vase is with a hairline starting from the lappet border " the base" and then curving on the body toward the horns of the blue dragon of approx. 25 cm.
