A CHINESE FAMILLE VERTE 'THREE FRIENDS OF WINTER' JUG, KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)

The exterior is decorated and gilt with two cranes in flight above the Three Friends of Winter (pine, prunus, and bamboo). The rim is decorated with a prunus band on a seeded ground, the lower body is decorated with a peach and pomegranate floral spray.
