A CHINESE PAIR OF PARCEL GILT BRONZE 'DRAGON' CENSERS,

Each censer is cast with a circular cover which is decorated in openwork with a four-clawed dragon in gilt pursuing the flaming pearl amongst cloud scrolls. The cover rests on a stand decorated with a lotus lappet band supported on a column with a globular midsection decorated with flowers and openwork foliage, the domed foot is decorated with gilt flower scrolls on a patterned ground.
