The tall domed cage composed of evenly spaced vertical gilt-bronze ribs, surmounted by a hook finial. The interior base and exterior is decorated with lotus scroll arranged around a perch supporting a cloisonné enamel bird-form censer with its wings forming the cover. The door of the cage is decorated with a longtailed bird and flowers. The cage is affixed with two similarly decorated bird feeders. The underside with a Guangxu mark.
