FIVE CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE DISHES

The lot comprises: a dish decorated with a peony roundel to the centre bordered by four chrysanthemum and peony sprays; a pair of dishes decorated with two cranes standing below a tree amongst peony and bamboo; a dish decorated with two pheasants in a peony garden, the base with a two-character mark in a double circle; and a deep dish decorated with peonies and insects, the rim decorated with ducks in a lotus pond.

The ‘chrysanthemum and peony’ dish: 4.5 cm. high x 28 cm. diam.
The ‘twin crane’ dishes: 3.5 cm. high x 26.5 cm. diam. (the other 26 cm. diam.)
The ‘twin pheasant’ dish: 4 cm. high x 24.5 cm. diam.
The ‘peony’ bowl: 4 cm. high x 22 cm. diam.
