A CHINESE PALE CELADON AND RUSSET JADE 'DRAGON AND PHOENIX' PLAQUE, 19TH CENTURY

Carved as a coiled mythical beast with a dragon head and carp tail, decorated with nodes to the body. The dragon fish is coiled around a phoenix.
7.2 by 4.7 cm.

The stone is of a pale tone with light russet inclusions. Good condition, light wear to the edges, some fine veins.
