The circular panel is inlaid with sections of bone carved in high relief depicting children at play with lanterns, firecrackers, and holding banners, all amongst plantain and trees in a rocky garden before a pavilion. The wood panel fits into an elegantly pierced shaped wood stand decorated with and openwork shou roundel surrounded by five bats on a scrolling floral ground.
