A PAIR OF CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE 'PHOENIX' DISHES, QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)

Each dish is decorated to the interior with a central roundel enclosing two confronting phoenixes amongst clouds. The exteriors are decorated with two further phoenixes in flight. With an apocryphal Daoguang seal mark to the base.
