A set of three Japanese porcelain cups with four domed covers, decorated in the Chinese Imari palette of underglaze cobalt blue, iron-red and gilt enamels. The cups and covers are richly painted with flowering peonies and foliage, with the covers surmounted by moulded circular openings. Height: 10 cm.
