A fine set of six Chinese Imari porcelain dishes, each decorated in underglaze cobalt blue and iron-red enamels with touches of gilt. The central roundels are painted with luxuriant flowering plants, including peony and chrysanthemum, rising from stylised rockwork, surrounded by concentric geometric and floral borders. The broad rims are further embellished with scrolling floral sprays in iron-red and blue. Diam : 23 cm.
