A fine pair of Chinese porcelain cups, each painted in iron-red, famille rose enamels and gilt with a dynamic five-clawed dragon chasing the flaming pearl, accompanied by a phoenix and surrounded by auspicious multicoloured clouds. The decoration is further enriched with stylised waves and a continuous key-fret border around the rim, with gilt details throughout. Each cup bears to the base a Chines Guangxu six-character iron-red mark Height: 6 cm.
