A Chinese porcelain ewer of pear-shaped form, rising from a short spreading foot to a waisted neck with flared rim, applied with a high arched handle and pointed spout. Finely painted in underglaze blue with a continuous landscape scene of figures in a mountainous setting, amid bamboo, flowering plants, rocks and architectural elements, the neck and shoulder decorated with floral and foliate motifs within double-line borders.
