A finely carved white jade figure standing in a dignified pose, adorned with a distinctive horned headdress. The serene facial features and flowing robe reflect the elegance and spiritual symbolism of Han dynasty jade craftsmanship. Delicately rendered details and natural russet inclusions enhance its antiquity and charm.

PROVENANCE From a private Canadian collection. Formerly from Mr. Huang Zhi-Ming, a Taiwanese private collector. Mr. Huang acquired the jade pieces in Hong Kong. Some from Mr. Lai Loy (1926 - 2012), a jade dealer on Hollywood Road well known for handling and supplying archaic jade pieces to collectors, museums and other dealers and some some from private collectors in Hong Kong.
