A finely carved jade bi disc dating to the Chinese Neolithic period, traditionally associated with early ritual practices. The disc is formed with a large central aperture and a flat circular body, rendered in translucent green jade with natural variations in tone.

The outer rim features subtle irregular projections, adding a distinctive decorative character to the piece. The surface shows natural weathering and mineral inclusions typical of ancient jade artifacts.

Bi discs were important ceremonial objects in early Chinese culture, often associated with ritual symbolism connected to the heavens and frequently found in high-status burials. D. 12 cm.
