Stupas are sacred Buddhist monuments symbolizing the enlightened mind of the Buddha and serving as devotional objects. This example features a domed form with a tiered base and a finial above. The base and surrounding panels are richly carved with small seated Buddhas and narrative scenes, reflecting the detailed sculptural traditions of Himalayan Buddhist art. H.25.6 cm.
