A Chinese porcelain vase, the broad-shouldered baluster body rising to a waisted neck, flanked by stylized phoenix-shaped handles glazed in pale blue. The exterior is brightly enamelled with large lotus blossoms borne on leafy strapwork stems, interspersed with bajixiang emblems. The rim is adorned with ruyi heads enclosing floral motifs, above a plantain-lappet border at the base, all reserved against a rich ruby-red ground. The base is covered in turquoise glaze and inscribed in iron red with a six-character Qianlong mark.
