A Chinese porcelain vase, the compressed globular body rising from a spreading foot to a tall, slender cylindrical neck with a raised rib encircling its midsection, subtly evoking a bamboo form. The vase is evenly coated in a lustrous ruby-red glaze, stopping neatly at the foot. The bottom with a Chinese Daoguang seal mark.
