A Chinese porcelain 'phoenix tail' vase, decorated in famille noire enamels with birds and ducks perched amidst densely blossoming peony branches. The neck is further stylized with birds in flight amidst bamboo and blossoming flower branches growing beside ornamental rocks. The bottom bears a Chinese Kangxi six character mark.
