An Ottoman Iznik pottery dish

With sloping rim on short foot, the interior decorated with a large turquoise ewer with flower motif and fanciful onion-domed cover and scrolling handle, surrounded by foliage scrolls on a ground of sea weaves. The rim with an alternating pattern of paired leaves and flower heads on a turquoise glazed ground. Provenance: Property from the estate of Anton Philips and heirs.
