A Persian Isfahan rug, designed with an ivory background and the ornaments are symmetrical and balanced, to the central part of the rug a large cartouche enclosing a large vase on a table issuing flowers and floral sprays, flanked by two large blossoming trees with perched birds and different animals. All is surrounded by a border containing a repeating design of a pair of birds and flower heads. 200 by 140 cm.
