A pair of Chinese mother of pearl-inlaid double-gourd vases and covers

Each vase is decorated with two circular roundels enclosing the words 'da' and 'ji' (very auspicious) surrounded by trailing leafy flowering vines, the foot is decorated with a flower scroll and a keyfret band. Each cover is decorated with flowerheads and surmounted with a stem finial.
