A group of Chinese famille rose porcelain

Comprising: a small box and cover decorated with orchids and inscribed with a poem; a pair of ‘baicai’ cabbage bowls, the bases marked with a bat and peach in iron-red; a bowl decorated with bats, peaches, and ‘shou’ characters, the base marked with a bat and peach in iron-red; a ‘Buddhist lion’ bowl decorated in iron red and gilt with blue enamelled keyfret bands; and a ‘peony and double gourd’ bowl, the base with a stamped apocryphal Qianlong mark.

The ‘orchid and poem’ box and cover: 9 cm. high x 7.5 cm. diam. The ‘baicai’ bowls: 5 cm. high x 11.5 cm. diam. The ‘bat and peach’ bowl: 5 cm. high x 9.2 cm. diam. The ‘Buddhist lion’ bowl: 5.5 cm. high x 11.3 cm. diam. The ‘peony and double gourd’ bowl: 6 cm. high x 10.2 cm. diam.
