A Chinese famille verte moonflask

The moonflask is decorated with two blue-glazed qilin handles to the shoulders. The flat sides are decorated with a circular panel, one enclosing a scholar on horseback with an attendant amongst flowers and trees, and the other with a sage, scholar, and an attendant below pine trees and rocks. The panels are interspersed with flowers and butterflies all on a stippled green-glazed ground. The neck is decorated with a ruyi-head band and the foot is encircled by a trellis band decorated with flower heads.
