A Chinese blue-ground gilt-decorated 'dragon and phoenix' bottle vase

The vase is decorated with a dragon chasing the flaming pearl and a phoenix chasing the sun, amongst cloud and flame scrolls, all above foaming waves. The neck is decorated with a ruyi-head band, and squared-scroll band to the foot. The base with an apocryphal Guangxu mark surrounded by gilt scrolling lotus.
