A Chinese blue and white mustard pot with European silver mounts

The bulbous body decorated with a continuous scene of two Luohan seated next to a censer on a rocky base amongst plants and plantain, all below a scrolling floral band. The foot is decorated with a further floral band. The domed cover is similarly decorated with a pierced finial. The silver mounts to the rim of the cover and to the foot, the hinge is modelled as a ram's horns.
