A Chinese 'Batavia ware' teapot and cover

The teapot is decorated to both sides with leaf-shaped panels enclosing iron red and black-enamelled flowers, with a further panel below the spout enclosing persimmons. the domed cover is similarly decorated and is surmounted by a lotus bud finial.
