A CHINESE MOULDED WHITE-GROUND BLUE AND WHITE PHOENIX-TAIL VASE, KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)

The vase is finely decorated to the body with two circular panels, one enclosing Shoulao and a deer and the other with Xiwangmu and a crane. The ground is decorated with further incised ruyi-bands, cloud scrolls, flower scrolls, and stiff leaves. The base with an apocryphal Chenghua mark. 42 cm.
